[Resolved] The hot fix is working as expected, and new users are now being onboarded without any issues. This is a temporary workaround we've used to onboard users, but we are still awaiting an update from Meta. We apologise for the inconvenience cause

January 20, 2025 7:04AM UTC
[Monitoring] We have deployed the hot fix, and users are now able to sign up. We are currently monitoring the release and following up with Meta to identify the root cause of the issue. Existing users are not affected by this issue, and their sending functionality is working as expected for both Transactional and Marketing WhatsApp messages.

[Identified] We are in the process of releasing a hot fix to unblock users and enable their onboarding on our platform. We will provide more information once the hot fix has been implemented. Unfortunately, we have not yet received any information from Meta. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

[Investigating] We are currently experiencing issues with onboarding new users on WhatsApp. Users attempting to create account via WhatsApp on Brevo are encountering an error message stating, “Oh, no ! An unexpected error occurred. We apologise for any inconvenience. We will work hard to fix this so it doesn’t happen again.” After investigation, we have determined that the issue is on Meta’s side. We have opened a support ticket with them to identify the root cause and work towards a resolution.
